The history of Bavarian locomotive Class G 3/4 H:
Between 1919 and 1922, Maffei and Krauss built 225 of the bavarian Class G 3/4 H. In 1919, Maffei factory built 40 locomotives (road number 7001-7040). In 1920, Krauss factory built 65 locomotives (road number 7041-7065) and (road number 7126-7165). In the same year, Maffei built another 60 locomotives (road number 7066-7125) and the last 60 locomotives (road number 7166-7225) were built in 1922 also by Maffei.When the DRG was formed, they took all 225 engines which became Class 54-15/54-17 and were numbered 54 1501 to 54 1725.
G 3/4 H was used for light and medium freight and passenger trains.
